This family four-season chalet combines traditional bank barns of Vermont with modern ski chalets of the Alps. It separates the living area from the sleep/work areas with a bridge that spans over the natural grade of the site. Anchored to the slope with a cast concrete base, the rest of the home is clad in natural wood cladding. Large windows overlook Mt. Mansfield from almost every room in this mountain retreat.
